Day 11: Luke the Evangelist

“Remember the past, plan for the future, but live for today, because yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.”- St. Luke

Today’s Virtue:

Compassion for the marginalized and vulnerable

Emulate Mary by meeting those that are most vulnerable with hearts of compassion.

Examples:

- visit the elderly or the sick

- feed the hungry

- pray for the unborn

Special Concluding prayer:

Be near me in my time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage may not fail; heal me according to your will; and help me always to believe that what happens to me here is of little account if you hold me in eternal life, my Lord and my God. Amen.
